Opened in 1866 and set in a lovely hillside area outside Antigua, Finca Filadelfia is one of the older coffee farms in Guatemala. This tour allows travelers to explore the property at Finca Filadelfia and hike amidst a beautiful cloud forest.

This tour takes you to into the high mountains of Finca Filadelfia, which sit at an elevation of 8,000 feet (2,440 m). Up here, cloud forests dominate. This type of forest is found in places where there is consistent cloud coverage. The moisture from the clouds condenses onto the leaves in the upper forest canopy and then drips down to the plants at the forest floor. Not surprisingly, a huge array of plants and animals live in this type of habitat.

The tour begins with a 45-minute hike to the cloud forest. As you hike, enjoy the clean air and abundant nature. Your friendly, bilingual guide will point out various plants and animals and ensure a safe hike. After some time at the top, you’ll descend and delight in the vegetation and landscape from a different perspective. You’ll then take a Mercedes-Benz Unimog truck back to the farm and enjoy a delicious cup of local coffee. This coffee is the perfect way to end your hike in the cloud forests of Finca Filadelfia.

Total tour lasts around 2 hours.
