This tour explores a wide range of cultural, natural, and historical destinations in Guatemala. Over the course of a week you'll visit Chichicastenango, Lake Atitlán, Santiago Atitlán, Panajachel, Antigua, Yaxhá, Tikal, and Guatemala City.

This tour can begin on either Wednesday or Saturday. Upon arrival in Guatemala City, you'll be transferred to your hotel.

The next day, you'll depart for Chichicastenango. Once here, you'll explore the colorful central market and then the Santo Tomás Church—both are unique cultural attractions in this town. Your afternoon is free, allowing you to continue shopping or explore more of Chichicastenango.

The next morning (Friday or Monday), you'll drive to Lake Atitlán and enjoy a boat ride to the picturesque village of Santiago Atitlán. In the afternoon you'll return to Panajachel and have some free time in the afternoon. You'll spend the night here.

Antigua is your next destination. While here you'll visit the town's most interesting attractions, including churches, convents, monasteries, and other colonial sites. In the afternoon you'll return to Guatemala City.

On Sunday or Wednesday morning you will take a flight to Flores. Upon arrival you'll be transferred to the Mayan archeological cite of Yaxhá and Topoxté. After lunch, you'll be transferred back to Flores or to Tikal for accommodations.

The next day you'll visit Tikal, one of Guatemala's most impressive archeological sites. Enjoy the ancient temples and pyramids, and get good views of the surrounding jungle. In the afternoon you'll take a flight back to Guatemala City.

Wednesday or Friday you'll be taken to the La Aurora International Airport.

The Atitlán Nature Reserve is located along the shores of Lake Atitlán outside the town of Panajachel. This private reserve offers all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, zip lining, swimming, and more.

On the first day of your journey, you’ll start your exploration of the area’s wildlife on a trail through the jungle of the Tikal National Park. Eventually you will come to a clearing, scattered with the stony ruins of Mayan temples and palaces.
