This 6-day, 5-night tour takes you to some of the best markets and cultural sites in Guatemala. In the process you'll explore Antigua, Panajachel, Santiago Atitlán, Quetzaltenango, Todos Santos Cuchumatanes, Huehuetenango, and Chichicastenango.

*Tuesday: *The tour begins with a departure from Guatemala City to Antigua, where you will visit the most important churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial sites. You'll stay the night at your preferred hotel in Antigua (not included).
- Wednesday: *In the morning you'll visit the Iximché archaeological site and then transfer to Lake Atitlán. You'll stay the night at your preferred hotel in Panajachel (not included).
*Thursday: *Early morning you will have a boat excursion to the village of Santiago Atitlán, which is one of the twelve villages around the lake. In the afternoon you'll head to Quetzaltenango and stay there night here (accommodations not included).
- Friday: *In the morning you'll visit the animal market of San Francisco El Alto, then visit the church of San Andrés Xecul. In the afternoon you'll transfer to Huehuetenango for accommodations (not included).
- Saturday:* In the morning you'll visit the most colorful market of Todos los Santos Cuchumatanes. Afterwards you'll transfer to Chichicastenango for accommodations at your preferred hotel (not included).
- Sunday: *Visit the handicraft market of Chichicastenango and the Santo Tomás Church. At 2:30 PM you'll end the tour and head back to Guatemala City.

Lake Atitlán is heralded as one of the most mystical and memorable lakes on the planet. It is also the deepest lake in Central America. You can get experience the lake by kayaking or swimming at the beaches on the lakeshore. See the lake from above by hiking the San Pedro Volcano or by reaching the summit known locally as Indian’s Nose.
