This tour begins on Wednesday when you arrive in Guatemala City and are transferred to your hotel.

On Thursday morning, you will leave for Chichicastenango. Once here you will explore both the open-air market and the Santo Tomás Church. Both attractions provide you with a wonderful glimpse of Guatemalan culture. You will have the afternoon free to continue shopping or wander around Chichicastenango. You will stay here that night.

After breakfast the next day you will drive to Sololá and visit the town's indigenous market. This is a great place to search for handicrafts and souvenirs. That afternoon you will continue on to Lake Atitlán and spend the night at a hotel here.

On 9:000 A.M. on Saturday a boat will take you across the lake to the lovely town of Santiago Atitlán. After exploring the town for an hour or two you will depart for Antigua. Once you arrive in Antigua you will get set up at your hotel.

On Sunday you will visit some of the best sites in Antigua, including churches, colonial buildings, monasteries, and more. After lunch you will return to Guatemala City.

Monday is a free day in Guatemala City - you can go shopping or tour some of the city's best cultural and historical sites.

On Tuesday morning you will be transferred to the La Aurora International Airport or to the hotel of your choosing.

The Atitlán Nature Reserve is located along the shores of Lake Atitlán outside the town of Panajachel. This private reserve offers all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, zip lining, swimming, and more.

The Chichicastenango market is one of the most colorful and exciting markets in Guatemala. It’s open on Sundays and Thursdays and is an interesting cultural experience for travelers.
