On the first day of this tour you'll be transferred to your hotel in Guatemala City. If you're flying into the airport, you'll be picked up there.

After breakfast the next morning you'll drive to Antigua. This charming town was once the capital of Guatemala, and you'll enjoy a short visit here. Afterwards you'll continue on to Chichicastenango and spend the night here.

The following day you'll explore the colorful marketplace of Chichicastenango. This a fun place, various stalls and search for handicrafts, including pottery, jewelry, and textiles. In Chichicastenango you can also stop by the Santo Tomás Church. Indigenous people can sometimes be seen praying on the steps of this church, which was originally built in the 16th century.

That same afternoon you will take a short stop at Lake Atitlán near the town of Panajachel. You will continue on to Guatemala City and spend the night here.

The next day you can choose between a number of leisurely tours. You can go see monuments, museums and the cathedral, or else go shopping in one of the city's many markets. You will spend the night in Guatemala City.

The next day you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
