This tour begins on Wednesday with your arrival into Guatemala City. You'll then be transferred to your hotel in the city for accommodations.

On Thursday morning you'll head to Chichicastenango. Upon arrival, visit the picturesque outdoor market and the Church of St. Thomas. The afternoon is free for shopping and to visit Chichicastenango on your own. You'll stay the night here (accommodations not included).

After breakfast on Friday, drive to Sololá and visit the indigenous market. In the afternoon, you will continue on to Lake Atitlán for housing (not included).

At 9:00 AM on Saturday you'll take a boat to the picturesque village of Santiago Atitlán. This is a good place to wander around and get a sense of Guatemalan culture. In the afternoon you'll depart for Antigua. Upon arrival you'll be transferred to your hotel accommodation (not included).

On Sunday you'll visit the most interesting places in Antigua: churches, convents, monasteries and other colonial places. After lunch, you'll head back to Guatemala City.

The tour ends on Monday morning with a transfer to the La Aurora International Airport or the hotel of your choice.

Atitlán Nature Reserve

The Atitlán Nature Reserve is located along the shores of Lake Atitlán outside the town of Panajachel. This private reserve offers all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, zip lining, swimming, and more.

Chichicastenango Market

The Chichicastenango market is one of the most colorful and exciting markets in Guatemala. It’s open on Sundays and Thursdays and is an interesting cultural experience for travelers.

Santiago Atitlan Friday Market

Santiago Atitlán is one of the more traditional towns along Lake Atitlán, and its market is a good place to witness the intersection of local culture and commerce. The best days to visit the market are Friday and Saturday.
